Shanghai Prairiesun was established in 2009, as one of the 9 fully funded subsidiaries of Inner Mongolia Lu-shan Energy Group. As a professional producer of photovoltaic solar modules, Prairiesun currently hires totally 350 employees. In 2010, Prairiesun¡¯s full series products acquired Germany¡¯s TUV Rheinland certification.
As a part of the group with a fully vertical integrated photovoltaic industrial chain, Shanghai Prairiesun, depending on advantageous low costs in production, excellent managerial fleet both home and abroad, is able to properly control the quality of the products and the materials so as to guarantee the supply of component products.
Up to the end of 2010, the productivity of solar components has hit 200MW and production is done in 4 independent factory buildings, in addition to a global sales center with plenty of human resource. The strategic production expanding plan formulated by the Group is implemented. In March, 2011, Shanghai Prairiesun initiated the construction on a new plot of 161mu for solar components 500MW. Upon the completion of the project, the productivity will hit 700MW and by the end of 2012, the productivity for components is estimated to hit 1GW.
In the coming 2 years, Shanghai Prairiesun will endeavor to explore into the international market. Based upon the sales branch in Munich, over 10 sales branches will be established in major market regions. Moreover, 30 distributors will be developed throughout the world to complete its global sales network.
